Industries · Toronto and the GTA

Every industry.
Measured, not guessed.

Viterno Group makes Instagram Reels, TikToks and YouTube Shorts for Toronto and GTA businesses in 14 industries, from real estate and car dealerships to restaurants, clinics, law firms and startups. Where we have published client work for an industry, it is below with its real view count. Where we do not have a public case yet, we say so.

Every answer here is planned from data: 366 viral business videos in 14 niches, each measured against its own account's median views. Our most-viewed video is 23.6 million views for Yorkdale Fine Cars in Vaughan.

For each industry: what Viterno Group has published, and what our outlier data says works. A multiplier is a video's views divided by its account's median, so small and large accounts compare fairly.

Real estate video marketing in Toronto

Real estate agents, brokerages and developers

Real estate is where Viterno Group has the deepest record. Toronto realtor Teuta Guci reached 20.2 million views in 30 days on an account with 16,000 followers, RE/MAX agent Kash Alavi had 6.5 million and 6.7 million views back to back, and our pre-construction work includes Aqualuna on the waterfront and Canada House downtown. We work in Toronto and LA, including with real estate developers in Beverly Hills.

In our September 2026 set of 30 real estate outliers, the median video did 58 times its account's usual views, and the top one, cabinet doors that open onto nothing, did 1,435 times from an agent with 906 followers. More on real estate video marketing, pre-construction and social media for realtors.

Car dealership video marketing in Toronto

Car dealerships

Our most-viewed video is for a car dealership: Flying Salesperson, 23.6 million views for Yorkdale Fine Cars in Vaughan. Four Yorkdale videos total 35.8 million, and the same team and production produced results 189 times apart, which is why we plan the idea before the shoot.

In our September 2026 dealership set, the median outlier did 38 times its account's usual views. The top one, a salesperson asking the floor for the highest car payment they ever sold, did 5.8 million views at 2,819 times. See car dealership video marketing and the dealership report.

Restaurant, bar and cafe video marketing in Toronto

Restaurants, bars and cafes

Food is the most crowded feed we measure. In 30 restaurant outliers from October 2026, the median did 17.9 times its account's usual views, the lowest of the eight industries in our main dataset. The winners sold something only that room has (a toy train that delivers the food, 312 times; a secret garden dining room, 464 times from 2,200 followers) or a person, like an owner holding the food to the lens (306 times). Plain shots of ordinary food rarely beat 20 times.

Hotel and hospitality video marketing in Toronto

Hotels and hospitality

In 28 hotel and stay videos we measured on October 25, 2026, the median outlier did 91 times its account's usual views, and the opening decided it. Videos that put the specs on the first frame (bedrooms, baths, a pool inside the room, "sleeps 18") had a median of 276 times; plain walk-in tours had 38 times. Thirteen of the 28 came from accounts under 20,000 followers.

Attraction and entertainment venue video in Toronto

Attractions and entertainment

Viterno Group works with Pocket Planet Canada, North America's largest animated miniature world, at Yonge and Dundas in Toronto. In 18 attraction and venue outliers from our October 25, 2026 pull, first-person video of the experience itself (the ride, the tank, the puzzle room) did best, at a median of 49 times the account's usual views. The top one, a diver waving at the crowd from inside an aquarium tank, did 930 times from an account with 5,600 followers.

"Hidden gem", "did you know" and "first and only" claims did less, at a median of 20 times. Full answer on hotel and attraction video marketing.

Retail and e-commerce video marketing in Toronto

Retail and e-commerce

Retail on short-form is filmed in the aisle. In 27 retail outliers from our October 25, 2026 pull, 23 were shot inside a store with the product in hand, at a median of 44 times the account's usual views. The top one, holiday skincare sets spotted on the shelf, did 7.1 million views at 12,075 times from an account with 2,000 followers, and a Christmas aisle walk did 11.5 million at 2,141 times. Ten of the 27 came from accounts under 20,000 followers.

Only two of the 27 came from a brand's own account; the rest were shoppers and creators, which is the lesson for a store's own account: phone in hand, product held to the lens, one line on why now. Seasonal shelves travel early, too: the top two were holiday videos, in a pull from late October. A brand's newest colour shown on the store mannequins did 895 times from 3,300 followers.

For a walk-in store we film on location, often in one shoot day with 12 to 16 finished videos. Viterno Group made a storefront promo for VIP Exchange on Yonge Street in North York; see GTA video production for where else we have filmed.

Barbershop, salon and med spa video in Toronto

Barbershops, salons and med spas

Our video for Premium Barbershop reached 7.49 million organic views with one fixed shot of a barber chair. In 30 barbershop outliers from September 2026, hooks that named the client's problem beat technique close-ups: "give me back 10 years" did 46.6 million views, and a Toronto barber with 402 followers reached 2.4 million. See barbershop and salon video marketing.

Med spas had the highest median of the eight industries in our main dataset, 61 times, and the winners answered the fear of the treatment. They also have the strictest rules; see dental and med spa video.

Dental and clinic video marketing in Toronto

Dentists and clinics

Dental videos are the best bet for a small account in our data: 14 of our 30 dental outliers came from accounts under 20,000 followers, the highest share of any industry we measured, and a six-second clip about tongue posture did 2,793 times from 773 followers. The winners explained something or told people what not to get ("please do not get a crown", 212 times).

Clinics also have rules: no "#1 rated" or "best at" claims for dentists, no testimonials for physicians, and prescription drugs such as Botox limited to names, price and quantity in public ads. The rules, with links to each regulator, are on dental and med spa video marketing.

Video marketing for law firms in Toronto

Law firms and lawyers

Law is the hardest industry in our October 25, 2026 pull: 15 legal outliers had a median of 14 times their account's usual views, the lowest of the six we measured that day. The format that worked best was a lawyer reacting to a clip people already wanted to watch (dashcam footage, a viral argument), at a median of 31 times across five videos. The top one, an injury lawyer explaining who pays when a delivery truck scrapes a car, did 985,000 views at 2,839 times from an account with 708 followers.

Clear, slightly alarming answers to everyday questions also travelled ("your group chat could get you arrested even if you sent nothing", 1.8 million views at 354 times), and so did a roleplay of a border inspection by an immigration lawyer (149 times). Talking heads making a general claim managed a median of 11 times.

Lawyers in Ontario market under rule 4.2-1 of the Law Society of Ontario's Rules of Professional Conduct: marketing must be demonstrably true, accurate and verifiable, must not be misleading, confusing or deceptive, and must be in the best interests of the public and consistent with a high standard of professionalism. The commentary warns against awards, rankings and endorsements that are not bona fide or are likely to mislead, so superlatives like "best" or "#1" are the usual problem (LSO Rules, chapter 4). Explainers and reactions sit comfortably inside that. This is a summary, not legal advice.

Gym and fitness video marketing in Toronto

Gyms and fitness

Gyms do well on short-form when the video shows a result you can see or a gym that cares. In 30 gym and trainer outliers from October 2026, the median did 56 times its account's usual views. The top one, the same jeans after four weeks of recomposition, did 1,388 times, and a gym owner's video of staff setting up a machine for a member did 509 times from an account with 1,900 followers.

A single honest question worked too: "how many times will you lose the same 10 pounds?" did 3.1 million views at 214 times. A reaction to a generic gym culture clip sat near the bottom, at five times. The ranked list is in our gym report.

Construction and trades video marketing in Toronto

Construction, renovation and trades

Trades travel in first person. In 22 construction and trades outliers from our October 25, 2026 pull, 13 were POV from the job (helmet cams, the view through the framing, the trench), and the top one, a roofer narrating his day on the roof, did 2.1 million views at 1,786 times. A plumbing company telling a cheeky marketing story over excavator footage did 5 million at 1,504 times. Eight of the 22 came from accounts under 20,000 followers, with a median of 415 times.

Renovation is about the reveal and the doubt before it: in 30 renovation outliers from October 2026 (median 41 times), "eww, you bought a used double wide" did 2,504 times and "trust the vision they said" did 1,358 times from 1,300 followers. Our construction work includes a montage for Heravi Development that reached 568,000 views on YouTube Shorts. See the renovation report.

Startup and SaaS video marketing in Toronto

Startups and SaaS

For startups the founder is the format. In 16 startup and software outliers from our October 25, 2026 pull, 11 were built around a founder: pitching strangers, building in public, filming a product update. The top one, an app founder with a phone taped to her forehead to get attention, did 3.7 million views at 6,457 times from an account with 786 followers, and "has anyone actually got a job on that app?" did 1,355 times from 80 followers.

Small accounts did best here: the four under 20,000 followers had a median of 888 times. Product demos worked when they opened on a business problem ("high sales do not mean high profit", 200 times). More on founder-led video on personal brand video.

Questions we get

Straight answers.

Which industries does Viterno Group make short-form video for?

Real estate (agents, brokerages and developers), car dealerships, restaurants and cafes, hotels and attractions, retail, barbershops and salons, med spas, dental and other clinics, law firms, gyms, construction and trades, luxury brands, startups and personal brands. Each industry above has our published work where we have it and our measured data either way.

Which industry does best on Reels and TikTok?

By median outlier, med spas led our main dataset (61 times the account's usual views) and restaurants trailed (17.9 times). In our October 25, 2026 pull, hotels and stays led (91 times) and law firms trailed (14 times). A low median does not mean an industry cannot win; it means the obvious version of the video is crowded, so the idea matters more.

Does Viterno Group only work with real estate?

No. Real estate is our deepest record, but our most-viewed video, 23.6 million views, is for a car dealership, and our clients include a barbershop (7.49 million), the Lamborghini x Babolat launch (1.27 million), Autopia Cars, Heravi Development, VIP Exchange and Pocket Planet Canada.

How do you measure whether a video worked?

Against the account's own median. A video's outlier multiplier is its views divided by the median views of that account's recent videos, so a 2,000-follower account and a two-million-follower account can be compared fairly. Try it on any video with our outlier calculator.

Can you make videos for regulated industries like law, dental and medicine?

Yes. We plan scripts around the rules for each profession (the Law Society of Ontario for lawyers, RCDSO for dentists, CPSO for physicians, Health Canada for prescription drugs, RECO for realtors), and the professional approves every script before we film. Details are on the clinic page and in the law section above.

Do you film across the GTA or only downtown?

Across the GTA. Our shoots include Vaughan, North York, downtown Toronto, the waterfront and the Beaches. We work in Toronto and LA. See GTA video production.

How much does short-form video cost in Toronto?

Done-for-you short-form video from a Toronto agency typically runs about $2,000 to $12,000+ a month, depending on how many videos, shoot days and platforms are included, and a freelance editor charges roughly $40 to $120 per edited video. Our Toronto cost guide breaks the market down. Viterno Group scopes each client on a discovery call rather than publishing a rate card.
