Viterno Group makes short-form video for Toronto hotels, attractions and entertainment venues. We work with Pocket Planet Canada, North America's largest animated miniature world, at Yonge and Dundas. We plan from data: in 28 hotel and stay videos we measured in October 2026, the ones that opened on the specs (the bedrooms, a pool inside the room, "sleeps 18") beat their account's median by a median of 276 times, against 38 times for a plain walk-in tour.
Attractions follow a different rule. In 18 venue and attraction videos, a first-person view of the experience itself (the ride, the tank, the puzzle room) did best, at a median of 49 times. We film on location, in English or Farsi, and post to Reels, TikTok and Shorts. Every industry we measure is on our industries page.

For attractions, first-person video of the ride, the tank or the room led the set (8 videos).

A slow pan of the lobby, the room and the pool, set to music. Every hotel has a lobby and a pool, so the viewer has no reason to stop.
In our hotel set, plain reveals still got views, but sat far below the videos that said something specific and checkable before the first cut.
They put one fact on the first frame: "5 bedrooms, 7 baths, indoor pool, sleeps 18" did 6.4M views at 2,368x; "wait until you see the pool inside this room" did 5.5M at 164x; "4 bedrooms, 1 lazy river, 0 neighbours" did 60x.
Rarity and urgency worked too: a famous hotel closing for years did 185x, and "the first and only mountain coaster in the state" did 39x for an attraction. One is Canadian: waking up to Niagara Falls from the hotel bed, 1.5M views at 54x from an account with 1,200 followers.
Before the shoot we write the single specific claim your place can own: the view, the first and only, the number on the spec sheet. That claim becomes the first frame.
We film the stay or the experience in first person, the way a visitor sees it, handheld or on a gimbal, never from a tripod in the corner.
Most attraction outliers were visitors reacting, so we plan reactions with staff, invited guests or creators, and keep anyone who has not agreed out of frame.
Inside your venue is private property: no City of Toronto film permit between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. Sidewalks, streets, parks and the TTC need one, and we flag those ideas before the day. See our permit guide.
Separate cuts for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, captioned for sound-off viewing, in English and Farsi if your guests speak both.
Every video is compared with your own account's usual views in the client portal, so you can see which ideas earned reach, and the next shoot is planned from what won.
Hotel videos that opened on a specific spec or claim beat their account's median several times more than plain tours, and attraction videos did best in first person. From 28 hotel and stay videos and 18 attraction videos on Instagram and TikTok, pulled October 25, 2026.
| Opening | Median multiplier in our data |
|---|---|
| Specs or price on the first frame (hotels, 6 videos) | 276x. Top: a cabin rental listing bedrooms, baths, an indoor pool and "sleeps 18", 6.4M views. |
| "Most beautiful" or "first and only" claim (hotels, 7) | 136x. Top: a satellite zoom onto "the most beautiful hotel in the country", 1,427x. |
| Music montage (hotels, 4) | 56x. A hotel chain's own family-trip contest reached 29.9M views at 146x. |
| Walk-in reveal or tour (hotels, 8) | 38x. Best when the reveal is specific: the pool hidden inside the room. |
| First-person view of the experience (attractions, 8) | 49x. Top: a diver waving at the crowd from inside an aquarium tank, 930x from 5,600 followers. |
| "Hidden gem" or "did you know" claim (attractions, 7) | 20x. Works when the claim is unusual: "a waterpark without the water". |

One that can tell you what makes a stranger stop and show it with numbers. Viterno Group works with Pocket Planet Canada at Yonge and Dundas, plans from 46 measured hotel and venue videos, and publishes the real view count of every client video on its case studies. Our comparison of Toronto agencies covers the alternatives.
Lead with one specific fact a guest would screenshot: the number of bedrooms, a pool inside the room, the view from the bed. In our October 2026 pull, hotel videos that opened on specs beat their account's median by a median of 276 times; plain walk-in tours managed 38 times.
First-person video of the experience itself, with a real reaction. In 18 attraction outliers we measured, POV of the ride, the tank or the room led at a median of 49 times the account's usual views. The top one, a diver waving at the crowd from inside an aquarium tank, did 930 times from an account with 5,600 followers.

Both. Most hotel and attraction outliers in our data were made by visitors and travel creators, so a venue's own videos should borrow their grammar: first person, one specific claim, a real reaction. A brand account can still break out: a hotel chain's family-trip contest reached 29.9M views at 146 times its median.
Not from the City of Toronto, if filming and production parking stay on private property, with the owner's permission, between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. Sidewalks, streets and parks need a City permit, and every permit needs $2 million liability insurance naming the City. Details in our Toronto film permit guide.
Done-for-you short-form video from a Toronto agency typically runs about $2,000 to $12,000+ a month, depending on how many videos, shoot days and platforms are included, and a freelance editor charges roughly $40 to $120 per edited video. Our Toronto cost guide breaks the market down. Viterno Group scopes each client on a discovery call rather than publishing a rate card.
Only people who have agreed to be filmed. We plan reactions with staff, invited guests or creators, and keep everyone else out of frame or unidentifiable.
